Civil War - Womens Clothing

Plain (one piece) dress in blue checked pattern fabric. Round neckline with front closure attached to the waistband of a gathered skirt.  Shown over a hoop.

Unfitted "Garibaldi" blouse in striped cotton shown with a cotton skirt.  Blouse is trimmed in satin ribbon with mandarin collar and narrow cuffs.

Pink cotton day outfit with round neckline, pagoda sleeves and separate skirt.  Bodice has signature "dropped" shoulder seams and "wings" to accentuate the shoulders.  

Light green ballgown bodice and skirts, trimmed in blue satin ribbon and eyelet lace.  Skirt has box pleated hem detain and petal overskirt.  Bodice has double sleeves and pleated bertha.

Simple ballgown bodice with short cap sleeves, pointed hem  shown with a matching skirt.  Off-the-shoulder bodice is trimmed in black satin and lace ruffle.

Deep maroon velvet bodice with satin accents and square peplum.  Shown over an iridescent skirt with a double ruffle at the hem.
